MARVIN JAMES

Marvin James is an artist, educator, and strategist with a practice of witnessing, channeling, and development. He serves as the founding archive caretaker for ITS-IN-SCOPE, a research studio, freedom institute, and contemporary archive that’s focused on contextualizing our histories, imagining our futures, and re-membering intuition. Marvin also functions as a strategy partner for Care of The Land, a freedom organization building care based ecosystems and models for cooperative living and working. With a decade of experience as a consultant developing businesses and brands such as The Springhill Company, Roblox, Smashbox Studios, Polaroid, and more, the former adjunct professor at Loyola Marymount University, is dedicated to employing their skill sets to improve the material conditions of divested communities across the Diaspora.
