Worldbuilding 3000: Contemporary Archiving (April 6, 1pm)
Join us for our second session of Worldbuilding 3000, a collective learning symposium held at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA on Sunday, April 6, from 1-4pm.
In this session we’ll be focused on contemporary archiving as a practice for self-preservation, knowledge cultivation, and historical inquiry in service to the long tradition of world-building.
Guided by Marvin James and in collaboration with Mariah Green of IE Archives, this program will begin with a 90-min workshop from 1-2:30pm followed by a 90-min artist talk from 2:30-4pm.
Hosted on-campus at Salethe Gallery (McConnell Center 110), each session is open to the public, RSVP only, free to attend, and limited to 14 participants. We ask you ensure attendance before reserving your seat and notify us if you’re unable to attend after RSVPing.
