Join us for our first Research Roundtable this Saturday (3/15) from 4-7pm at the Library for Researching and Remembering located within the Alliance Community Cultural Center in Downtown Pomona (406 W. 2nd St, Pomona, CA 91766)

Topic : Building Beyond Suburbia 

This collective learning session will be guided by IIS Archive Caretakers Ezra and Marvin James and refer to curated reference texts from Mike Davis, Nicholas Korody, Sandra D. Shannon, Peter Wohlleben, Hilary Malson, and Gil Scott-Heron.

The provided research citations will support us exploring the fragility of American suburbs, the nature of African movements, and the power we have to divest from extractive economies.

The event is free to attend, donation tickets are welcomed and proceeds will be invested in the library’s collection and future programming.
