ITS-IN-SCOPE’s Memoryhaus is an alternative site for education, optimism, and imagination that’s located in Los Angeles’ Historic South Central neighborhood. Featuring material artifacts, research notes, visual essays, and audio records, this space provides access to shared histories as a door to a shared future.

As a model for cooperative placemaking, the Memoryhaus serves as a portal for collective learning and contemporary archiving through a curation of built environments and intimate experiences. We invite you to plan your visit and join us in being present together.

Our space is meant to foster intimacy, nurture curiosity, and expand intuition. We are regularly open for library hours, community explorations, and tea time. Every visit to Memoryhaus 555 requires a reservation and is guided by ITS-IN-SCOPE Archive Caretakers and/or Studio Residents. We hope to see you soon.
