A diasporic collective learning initiative that exists decidedly outside the confines of academia, higher education, and imperial school systems. Driven by the spirit of figuring it out together, our intuitive pedagogy creates conditions for collective dreaming in order to remember intuition and restore indigeneity.

The Abundance Irrigation Residency was an experimental 18-month residency program making space for re-membering how to irrigate the natural abundance of Black/Indigenous ways of being.

Guided by the ITS-IN-SCOPE archive caretakers, participating individuals were given the opportunity to interdependently archive shared histories and intuitive futures cooperatively within a cohort of artists and archivists to develop an archival thesis inclusive of a collection and an exhibition. Beginning with a Fall 2021 orientation at the Memoryhaus 555 space, this residency cohort provided an environment, tools, pedagogy, retreats, and community to incubate select artist and researchers creative processes and develop a body of work that would be exhibited at Residency Art Gallery in Inglewood, CA to complete the residency experience in Spring 2023.
