THE LIBRARY FOR RESEARCHING AND REMEMBERING

Installed within the Alliance Community Cultural Center in Pomona, California, the Library for Reference and Remembering, curated by ITS-IN-SCOPE is designed to support artists, researchers, students, and workers in re-membering intuition and indigenous histories to further their sovereignty. 

We invite you to explore a selection of over 300 titles, including artbooks, anthologies, isms, essays, poems, publications, reports, novels, guides, textbooks, and zines while relaxing at a table or couch. In their pages you will find new perspectives, ancestral histories, inspiration, and a celebration of Black and Indigenous creativity.
